Baptist memorial hospital to be demolished!

Back in August of this year my wife and I went on a little road trip across the country, and one of the stops along the way was Memphis. I had always wanted to go to Graceland since I was young, so it was a wonderful time for me. The sad thing was when we were riding to Sun studios in the Sun studio shuttle van, the tour guide past by the Baptist Memorial hospital and mentioned that it was scheduled to be torn down in the near future. It appeared as if the building was already being prepared for demolision. It just brings a sad feeling to my heart!!! I wish that it wasn't happening, but I think it is too late to do anything about it. Hopefully they'll have some type of memorial there for Elvis. What is your opinion about this?

I didn't know that. I grew up in Memphis and have been to that hospital several times. I even drove by with my Mom one time and saw the tinfoil over the windows where Elvis was admitted and staying there. That was the nicest hospital in Memphis when I was young. Probably not as much anymore though. Yes it is a bit sad.
