where was this picture taken?

I've been looking at this picture in the gallery:

Where was it taken? Elvis looked so young--but he looks completely different than his high school yearbook pic. Any info?

I believe that this picture was taken in 1958 while Elvis was serving in the Army. If I'm not mistaken, it was taken at Eddie Fadal's house in Texas.

Anyone know for sure?

Yes, it was taken in Texas in 1958 before going off to Germany.

Thank you all, I was looking all over for something on the photo earlier and found the photo but no caption!

I know this photo hangs in Graceland at the stairs and looks like a portrait, it's beautiful. It's in color, I'll try and find a photo of it.

Looks great Tommy... But why don't you correct the photo? You know, brightness and stuff...

I like it the way they were taken because that's mostly how it is kind of dark in there. I like the effect of the original photo and the way the camera perceived the lighting. That is a good idea though to lighten them up.

I get it... I know what you mean. I do think too that "original pics" ( ) are so much better.
