I guess he was too young in 50s to have noticeable chest hair and in 60s he shaved them. in 70s he began to grow them because it was fashionable in that time. whatever the reason it,s really sexy on his shapely chest! what do you girls think?!

I'm 45 and I really didn't start to get most of my chest hair until my late thirties. Perhaps with EP it really didn't start fully until 1968 or so. Just a note, about those awesome pics of EP in that brown shirtless outfit, I believe this is the outfit he had on when he first met the Sweet Inspirations, at least it sounds like it as described by Myrna Smith. Either way she said after this meeting that "he was the most gorgeous man I ever seen".

I'm no expert but I know in my own case I had no chest hair until I got to about 35, 36 then it started to come in. So maybe its that way with certain guys.

**** these are hot. I'm using a lot of zoom, especially for the powder blue jumpsuit photo! How much more manly could he have looked! Great selection.

    Re: Chest

What I've always been fascinated to know....is did he dye his chest hair as it (presumably) went grey?

    Re: Chest

oh i can't imagine how uncomfortable that would be. I'd imagien though that he didn't. I don't think he would have to many grey chest hairs as he wasn't a naturally dark haired man.

    Re: Chest

Highly unlikely, Larry Geller was his hair dresser and he never mentioned it. If you look at the 70s photos they certainly don't look dyed, his chest hair was always light brown sometimes a little darker depending on the quality of the photo. Makes you think though if he did dye them what a dream job that would have been for someone!! lol.
