Here's 2 more.
I just thought I'd drop a new thread on this one, guys - Anyone notice how EP and his mutual admirer, Jackie Wilson took their respect to another level in Las Vegas, 1974?
Check out Elvis' stage attire during this August/September engagement and Jackie's off-stage attire!

You notice the tan line from his sunglasses???
Tragedy struck the following year as Jackie suffered a fatal heart attack that left him in a coma for eight years before he sadly passed on in 1984.
Little did Jackie know that Elvis had paid an amount of his hospital fees when the incident occurred and little did he know that his friend had also passed on just over six years before him.
Tragic.

This is a not very well known version of that white leather Suit, I think Elvis looked great on both.
that suit was worn for the show on the 'NIGHT FEVER IN VEAGS cd
BTW, i thought there was only one pic of this suit. fantastic! where'd u get em?

Does anybody got anymore pics of Elvis wearing the "orange leather suit"?I think this is probably his least known stage outfitt. I get the photos above somewhere in the net years ago and one is a scan of mine; never seen Elvis on stage wearing that one.
P.S. I Dig Jackie Wilson!

NEA, I've noticed that too about Jackie's outfit. That's cool.
ROR, a couple of those are new to me. Cool pics. Elvis' 5 o'clock shadow is more apparent than we usually see in photographs.
I'd say he was quite ill at that time though. He looks great in the face, not bloated in the least or otherwise puffy, but look at how distended his belly appears in those pics.
His appearance was affected in such different ways by the different medications/conditions he was taking/experiencing. Think of the way he looked in Hampton Roads on EOT--it was just the opposite. His face appeared fairly bloated but in the waist he looked nearly TTWII-thin.
Those pictures are rather disturbing actually, when you think about how messed up his insides must have been, the discomfort he was surely in.
...you won't forget me when I go.
Yeah you right LonnieBealeStreet, If you take a good look on those pics that I posted, specialy the ones on the white leather suit, you can see he is in perfect shape, he is almost as thin as in 1970, if you look at his legs and neck, he is thiner than in the Aloha or even than in Elvis On Tour and the Madison Square Garden , if you look at his face in the ones with the Orange Leather Suit he looks as good as in the Nov '70 TOur, but when you take a look at his belly you?ll see something very wrong was going on, I Mean that is not fat...
Yes in Elvis On Tour I notice the same, he looked ok on the concerts he used the white and the light blue jumpsuits, but sudenlly when he appears on tHe navy blue and in the Red one... I mean you cant win or lost so much weight just like that, again, that was not fat.
I agree that something was not quite right there. I'm trying to put these photos in a timeline in my mind. Any idea exactly the date of the dark leather photos? Thanks.
Got my family, my kids, my books and my music, I'm good, yeah, I'm good.....
All pictures are taken at the end of August 1974. The orange looking suit is not orange but tan. It's named the "Wine Glass". These suits were the only ones that were not designed by his usual dresser. They came from North Beach Leather in Los Angeles. They were very popular at the time and are worn by several celebreties, among them Jackie Wilson.
Thanks Leroy! You're always there and I sure appreciate it.
