Thanks Paul, it looks great. I love the two piece suit from 74', do you recall what Elvis wrote on the Sahara top in one of the pictures? Thanks
On Saturday August 27th my buddy John and I took a three hour drive to the New York State Fair in Syracuse to go see The King's Ransom, the personal treasures of Elvis Presley from the private collections of Russ Howe, Tom Salva and Bud Glass. As you can see from the photos below (click on the link), they have quite a collection. The exhibit features over 200 personal treasures of Elvis Presley. See jewlery owned and worn by Elvis, personal handguns, a large collection of badges, "film-worn" wardrobe, "stage-worn" costumes, even the Bible that was on his nightstand the night he died. It's the greatest collection of Elvis-owned memorabilia outside of Graceland. It is located in the Master Spas Horticulture Building. They are there until September 5th, and then they will be in Dallas from September 30th until October 23rd at the State Fair of Texas. Drop by and check it out. Be prepared for a line up, but it is well worth the wait!

That Russ Howe has sure got a lot of goodies, doesn't he?
Thanks for posting these pics, Paul. Very cool. I had seen something in Essential Elvis about this fairly recently, but it must have been great to be there.
...you won't forget me when I go.
It was - and they are great guys as well ;-)Originally Posted by Lonniebealestreet

Unfortunately, even though I only live about 50 miles away from the New York State Fair, I couldn't make it to the fair this year because of my work schedule!!!But my parents were there and saw the exhibit and they said it was quite fascinating to see!!
