    Let me make myself perfectly clear. I think they both SUCK. It's just that ALLC sucks less.

    I would have liked the remixers to use the live version of Rubberneckin'. It was from '69, I believe, quite rare and it was ROUGH! Even better than the studio version, though that one was nice as well.
    I agree about the "rougher" part . The ALLC remix used the TV special version which was never used in 68. I felt one of the reasons the remix worked so well was because his voice sounded rougher and more in the moment, not a recording from 30 years ago. I too expected they would have used the more raw live version of Rubberneckin from 69.
    I felt this was why it did not sound, nor do as well as ALLC.
