(MIX!!!) A Little Less Conversation Vs. Rubberneckin'

Which mix is better? Or what do you prefer? I can't pick one... A Little Less Conversation (JXL) is cool, specially the long version. But talking about the video, well I think it's terrible! Rubberneckin' (Paul Oakenfold) makes me want to dance immediately. Also is a really great mix. Even the video is awesome (so much sexy!!!). Help me to choose one, friends.

Without a doubt I've voted for ALLC. It all started with that song. It's also probably the most succesful Elvis song among the youngsters. The remix stayed for close to the original, but still was modern enough to be a huge hit on radio, in the clubs and among the Elvisfans.

    Love that song

Of course when I heard ALLC I loved it...as much as I dislike modern remixes...of course video was a crap...but then Rubberneckin' came along...wooow-that one I like even better...maybe because of the song itself...and there is less "computer-made" stuff...Its video is really GREAT!!!!

I like what I see, and it gives me such a glowowowow!

Well I like both of them. Although I think ALLC started it. To be honest, I'd rather listen to the original versions. I guess the youth likes the techno beat, or something.

I would have liked the remixers to use the live version of Rubberneckin'. It was from '69, I believe, quite rare and it was ROUGH! Even better than the studio version, though that one was nice as well.

ALLC no doubt. I remember when that mix came out, I wasn't really "in" with the Elvis fandom, you see. Well, I liked the song and I was pretty amused that they'd be doing a remix with an Elvis song. Of course now I know he's still very much a factor in the music scene. But I do really like both original and remix of ALLC.
Some people tap their feet, some people snap their fingers, and some people sway back and forth. I just sorta do 'em all together, I guess.

Hmm...that's a tough one. But I guess I'd have to say that I like "Rubberneckin" just a little bit better only b/c I've heard "A Little Less Conversation" too many times. But they're both great, don't get wrong!

Gotta go with A LITTLE LESS CONVERSATION....I think it's overall just a better remix!! Don't get me wrong...RUBBERNECKIN' was good too, but when I'm in the mood to listen to a remix, I usually go straight for ALLC!!!

I love remixes in general. But not a big fan of the techno ones. I love the ALLC one more than the Rubberneckin one.

I want more remixes, but funky, groovy beats, NO TECHNO!

Well, I went for ALLC as well... Very cool mix!

But, I also liked Rubberneckin' a lot. Too bad it didn't do a little better in the charts though...

In fact, the remix of "a Little less Conversation" was played in the senate after the election. Showing what the new ruling parties were going to do: less talking, more action...

I think that was really cool... Elvis, being used by the new goverment and senators...

I like ALLC very much and rate it higher than the Oakenfold-remix of Rubberneckin'.

But if I had to choose between ALLC and the Rubberneckin'-remix of J. Pirzada (I guess that's the name of the guy) my vote would go to Rubberneckin'. Imo this version is much better than the Oakenfold-mix and even better than ALLC.

What a pity that BMG/EPE didn't use that version for an official release. Does anyone else know this version (I think it's also called groove-mix - I hope my informations are right)?

    Hi Wendy,

I Like Both Elvis-Remixes, But I Voted For Rubberneckin' 'Cause Of The Video. I Liked Especially The Long Version Of Rubberneckin', It Sound Sexy And A Little Bit Dirty...It Makes You Wanna Dance...
