Does anyone know if this film is available to purchase? I saw this once several years ago, but haven't found it since. I'd like to see his portrayal now after watching the dissapointing CBS special.

I don't think it's available for sale anywhere. You could try e-bay. You could try some on line DVD stores. It was a good movie. Kurt Russell did a good job.

I do know you can buy it from Amazon both UK and USA but both are used VIDEOS and they are asking around ?20 hope this helps I too love this movie I think Kurt did a fanatastic job.

I don't like this movie at all. There are just too many obvious mistakes in there and I can't see past them.

I've got a couple of pics from the movie but they are not great quality - better than nothing anyway.

I think Kurt did a very fine job portraying Elvis and he made the movie quite an exciting feature to sit through. This is long overdue for a DVD release.

Kurt is such an amazing actor...and Although Elvis the movie did seem a little "cheesy" and inacurate" I enjoyed it

I first saw this movie on television when it first came out but bought the VHS on eBay two years ago. Amazon may still have it but it is much more expensive. I think the movie was so-so but feel that Kurt Russell did the best job of portraying Elvis thus far.

Elvis: The Movie w/ Kurt Russell is great. Yes, there are mistakes. I tend to view them more as "artistic license." I admit that I'm more inclined to forgive this movie's "mistakes" because I enjoyed it then and still do today.

On the other side of the coin: the latest Elvis movie w/ Jonathan what's-his-name was a complete travesty. Artistic license notwithstanding. A complete waste of time.

I bought my copy from him. It's a good VHS transfer to DVD. He told me it was made from a brand new VHS that had never been played before the transfer.
