Greetings Elvis people every where! So here is a new thread, this requires a little bit of more obscure knoledge.

There was a thread a bout which was your favourite Elvis Cover. Ok now back in the fifties, sixties and seventies, singles somtimes where more mportant than albums, so I want to know people around the world: Which are youre favorite Elvis singles covers?

Mines are in cronological order ( Im talking only about the covers not the content, thera many great singles but with unfortunately not very gracefull covers):

And by the way: THE MOST HORRIBLE EVeR ELVIS SINGLE COVER: "I?ve Lost you/ Next Step is love" greats songs but with that trashy sleeve no wonder they didn?t reach to far on the charts.

Here you are with some more Evlis SIngles Cover: isnt it the cover of Ive Lost You just awfull? haha... In the other han we have Don?t Cry Dady/Rubberneckin, isnt it this cover so so cool!!! That?s provalby my favourite from that period 68-71

i always liked one broken heart for sale, devil in disguise, blue river, all shook up, too much, jailhouse rock. and from the 70's promised land, way down. but my vote for the worst is without a doubt.... winter wonderland from the 70's . all the best from the usa... simmerrocks

Do you think that RCA wasn?t very clever about how to put out Elvios SIngles in the Market, specialy during the 70's?

I am collecting German singles. The label of the singles is beautiful too for collectors.
For the most the covers are the same as American singles.
The first picture cover was released in 1960 (O Sole Mio - Make Me Know It).
Before 1960 singles came in RCA "lochcovers".
For me the most beautiful cover in Germany was the rare issue of the cover for the single "Patch it Up - You don't have to say you love me".

I LOVE the picture sleeve for the PIECES OF MY LIFE/BRINGIN' IT BACK single!!

(Of course the fact that my favorite Elvis album is the TODAY album has absolutely nothing to do with my choice!!)

My all time favorite sleeve is Kissin' Cousins/It Hurts Me. Love all the pics I've seen from that photo shoot.
