Hi Wendy,

I do like the ballad "Almost In Love" - I think it is one of Elvis' better movie soundtrack ballads from the 60's.

It appears to be a slight departure from his previous 'cotton-candy' type movie ballads and his voice is portraying a great sound of maturity with this number.

The song bears well along with the other numbers from the movie "Live A Little, Love A Little". An overall good soundtrack and a great departure from the 'norm'.

This song deserves to be included on all Elvis love songs compilations. And it's such a proof that RCA/BMG kept on playing safe, since this song has only been used on a compilation once or twice.

I love everything about the song: it has a dark, somewhat hoarse voice, an extremely romantic melody and a bit merengue undertone.... It's simply wonderfull....
