i have a question i hope someone here can answer.Where has all the movie outakes gone from elvis' films?

They must be somewhere and there has to be outtakes,i mean elvis was known to mess around even in the studio so its more or likely he would mess during filming.

Even though they are somewhere it seems epe and rca dont wanna know.If you look at the jailhouse rock trailer you will notice a tiny bit of an out take so they are there and there exsistence is known of ,so why not include them on the movie remake dvd's????

is it just epe holding onto future releases? do they exsists? so why no release?

someone help ,its such an easy question why cant i get an answer???

I think we have a lot of outtakes from his movies.

We have the complete Spinout-Session, nearly the complete G.I. Blues-Session, we have 3 CDs with outtakes from Blue Hawaii. We have some FTD-CDs.

Until now Ernst hasn't found any outtakes of Jailhouse Rock, maybe they are erase. There are no outtakes found of Kissin' Cousins.

It's hard to say what exists in the vaults. Maybe we know more after the release of the new Tunzi-Book.

Newflame, E.L.V.I.S. meant unreleased movie footage, like bloopers and stuff.

Except for some clips taken at the Clambake set, nothing much has been released so far.

Wonder why they are holding back on it? do they expect us to buy the dvds now then buy them again with the new footage .At this rate we will all be bankrupt

The release of all these movies on dvd would've been a great chance to give us some bloopers and stuff, or even some interviews with actors...

too true sonny i will have a walking stick by the time we get out takes ,

i think special features to rca etc means: scene selection,song index and photo gallery with 10 pictures .

How about the scenes cut from 'kid galahad'?
the song cut from 'spinout'? the extra bits of the fight scene in jailhouse rock? either im totally wrong or they dont want us to have what we want

I hope that's not the case.

I'd like to think there is a good reason that we are not getting that kind of footage, but I don't like the reason--the footage just may not exist any longer.

I think it's a pretty common thing to see outtakes on trailers because they are put together often while the movies are still in their editing stages. So at that time they would not have really known that they were using outtakes.

And I hope I'm wrong, but I'm guessing a lot of that film has long since been scrapped.

But maybe I am, and one day we'll get all kinds of such footage on one DVD. Maybe they held that stuff back to keep costs down on these DVDs so they could be sold at such reasonable prices, I dunno.

I would love to see FLAMING Star incl. all 4 Songs. Not only the 2.
Also many deleted scenes incl. in the movies as they were planned to be in the 1st time, like the Lonely Man scene from Wild in the Country, Tonight's all right G.I. Blues (the 2nd EU Version), + many many others.
Hopefully these things will see sometime the light of the day
