Oh my gosh! That's horrible. Man...I'm sure glad he had a head full of thick hair! Seriously, how bad would that be if Elvis started losing his hair as he got older?!?! Ahhh!!!

Well, baldness certainly didn't prevent actor Patrick Stewart from being voted "Sexiest Man on Television" in 1992. And I've certainly seen some very attractive bald women. Hair loss does seem to be a big issue to most people though.

Didn?t Elton John looked much much better with his baldish head instead of his horrible unnatural thing covering his head now?

i have never seen Elton John bald. i'm not sure i wanna see it

What You Mean you never seen Elton John bald? he had been bald (not totally bald) for a long time (you gotta check him around mid 70's to mid 80's, and he didnt looked bad at all, yet I think he look simply awfull when he sudenlly got hair again in the early 90's, dont know if he uses a wig or if he made some hair implants, but it ceartanily doesnt look good at all.

On the other side we got someone like REM?s Michael Stipe, he doesnt have a hair, and from a Male perspective, I think he looks sexy enough... hes for sure an example of a bald yet tractive male; Elvis had the looks no matter what, that photo looks bad, but it has lots to do with the way Elvis hair in the sides is fixed, maybe all shaved up as Stipe of maybe longer he would looked ok.

Just a point of view, dont know, maybe no man wants to get bald, I wouldn?t like it, but maybe it will happend to me and you some day, and when it happens it happens, not much to do, and I think atractive is a man who acept himself as it is, as an example Ill put Stipe again, he looks pretty self asured about his looks, yet if you start getting into wigs and that stuff, as an example we got Sir Elton John, you simply look just awfull and unsexy.

Elvis was the total package as an entertainer. Of course he may still have looked great as a bald guy, but nobody would prefer that over his famous hairstyle. Imagine the NBC special with a bald Elvis.

No, there's no discussion about that

Maybe Elvis still would have looked good without his hair, but he would have to have changed image totally. His persona was completely built around his looks, and in big part his hair. I doubt that he would have embraced it though, I definitly think Elvis would have used a wig or done something about it...

I totally agree when albert says that theres is no discussion about Evis being bald around the time of the '68 NBC Tv Special; but what I Mean about Elvis accepting himself if severe loss hair will happend to him, had more to do if that happened to him around '77-'78 (if he had lived) it was time to start thinking about a big image and style change any way
