    Elvis: Live In Concert 1977

Here is the front & insert cover for Elvis Live In Concert 1977, it's a custom made cd, with the best tracks (also audio wise) from 1977, like a follow up for spring tours 77, hope you like my effort so far...the preview is reduced in quality!

The tracklist will be lifted from: Coming On Strong, Moody Blue and other..., several bmg releases (not spring tours afcourse), some tracks from the 2 profile boxsets. Only have to figure out now wich tracks to use, to make this cd good enough to make it as a follow up to spring tours.

Looks very nice to my eyes, but I am not a big fan of photos w/ mirrored (backwards) poses like the inside photo; I like them turned in the correct direction, but that's just a personal thing I guess

    Still, it looks great!

Very nice, Patrick! The image of him looking away from us but towards the smaller pic of him in that background image (Greensboro) is way cool! Using that same background with the houselights up for the front cover photo came out quite nicely as well.
...you won't forget me when I go.

    EXCELLENT DESIGN PATRICK!!!!

I LOVE THE PHOTOS you chose for your cover, and the overall design is SUPERB!!! (Of course being partial to Elvis in 1977 has ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with my enjoyment of your design!!)

KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK MY FRIEND!!!

Thank you, Mike! Glad you like this cover that much. I wanted to do something different for a 1977 cover. And it's a real shame that the guys from the FTD label never put out a follow up to their Spring Tours release! If i remember correctly...Ernst said that they were going to release more from 1977, maybe even a enchanged version of Elvis In Concert....what happend to that idea? I know that it is on the wishlist of many, many Elvis fans worldwide. Or just release the complete Rapid City concert!!! Elvis voice was so strong there. So forget the many movie soundtrack releases...just release Rapid City!

    YOU ARE VERY WELCOME PATRICK!!!!

I would guess that eventually, FTD will get around to giving the fans an upgraded version of ELVIS IN CONCERT.....but as always, we just have to be patient!! But if/when FTD does re-release ELVIS IN CONCERT, I would GUESS that they will include the unused recordings from both Omaha and Rapid City as bonus tracks....at least we can hope they will!!

Like you Patrick, I would LOVE to see a follow-up to SPRING TOURS '77! According to various sources, there are still plenty of unreleased concert recordings left in the RCA vaults from the spring of '77....but I guess the main question is whether there are enough decent performances left to warrant a sequel to SPRING TOURS '77??? But being a fan of Elvis in 1977, I will keep my fingers (and toes) crossed!!!

ONCE AGAIN PATRICK, GREAT JOB WITH YOUR DESIGN MY FRIEND!!!

    do the clam..

Hey, although Elvis didn't perform 'Do The Clam' in '77 (as far as I know) I would love to see a tracklisting of that album Patrick made. It's a bit too small for me to read on the pictures I see.

And yes indeedy, Elvis had a magnificent voice in 1977 and I would love to hear more from that year. Even if some performances are a little bit on the weak side it's still okay with me - I'd rather listen to a weak Elvis than a strong Mick Jagger, for instance..
