i think el looked at his most perfect just before he goes on stage in t.t.w.ii.

Some people say the 50's, some people say 68-70, some might even stretch to late 72-early 73.
In my opinion, however, he never looked better than around 1962. Primarily, I'm thinking of his appearance in "Girls, Girls, Girls".
Although he's leaning forward which gives him slightly better definition, I've chosen this first picture because it reveals so much. Check out the shape and size of the neck, the strong jawline, the super-smooth complexion, the cropped and neatly-swept hair and, rare for Elvis, an impressive and almost muscular-looking forearm!
Then check out the second picture where Elvis is sporting a perfect tan, a totally flat stomach and a great shirt/trouser combination with raised collar and sleeves! Also note the biceps which are teeming on appearing muscular and defined. The perfect figure for a man...?

LETS BE FRIENDS!
For me, without a doubt, Elvis looked best in 69/70!
Destination deals the cards we're just playing.
AS a rocker: 1956
As a moviestar: around Blue Hawaii
As a performer: 1968-1970
in Charro. so sexy!!!
In my opinion, I thought he looked his absolute best during 1968, especially the Comeback Special. He looked so healthy and just downright stunning.
Some people tap their feet, some people snap their fingers, and some people sway back and forth. I just sorta do 'em all together, I guess.

I must say that The King looked stunning between 1968 and 1970:
The 68 Comeback Special, 'The Trouble With Girls', 'Change Of Habit', Vegas 69 - 70, T.T.W.I.I.
And that brief period in Hawaii in January, 1973 for his second TV Special also fits into this bracket too.
Every guy wants to look like that - with and without big sideburns!
LOL!
Thanks for the responses thus far.
And geordie, I know what you mean: I'm a straight male! But Elvis fans, regardless of their sexuality, are definitely fascinated by his looks. It's that simple.

And I'll bet every time Elvis says "Laurel" you hear "Laura"...Originally Posted by iloveelvis05

Just looking at the early sixties movie era, I don't think he looked better than he did in Fun In Acapulco.
I couldn't find any screen grabs from the movie, but I believe this is a FIA publicity shot.
...you won't forget me when I go.
Hehe...you're right! I definitely hear him saying my name "Laura" instead of "Laurel". Quick question though...how did u know my name is Laura? Did u actually go look at my profile or something?? Hehe...just wondering.Originally Posted by Kapu
