Do you remember which was the first Elvis' song you heard and when? I do: Heartbreak Hotel. I was 6 years old... Now, I love Elvis' music, Elvis' movies... all. He's the best, the number one.![]()
Tell me about you!
Let the stars fade and fall, and I won't care at all, as long as I have you.

The first song I ever really "heard" (payed attention to) , it was a couple of years ago, when "A Little Less Conversation" came out with the new remix.
Thats when I started getting into Elvis!!

Not really sure about this, but I have a vague feeling I may have "heard" Wooden Heart over the radio first... I can recall hearing " Dynamite" by Cliff Richard as also " Greenfields" by the Brothers 4 over the radio but not Elvis
The first album/record I heard was " Gold Vol 3" and " It's now or never" after that I looked out for Elvis on the radio stations from around the world- the best way to hear "new" Elvis' songs till the early 70's(at least for me!
Hard to remember...
But as far as I know the first Elvis record I really listened to and was the start of me becoming a fan must've been Elvis In Concert back in 1977.
Sonny
the first songs with him i heard was Hound Dog and Love Me Tender. i have no idea where, or how old i was, but i was little. this was many many years before i became a fan, and those 2 songs were the only ones i knew with Elvis before i became a fan
Well, it was one Saturday afternoon in 1974 for me...amidst the glam rock tunes on the radio came this heavy-duty rock sound from almost 20 years previous - "Hound Dog".
Cheers,
NEA.
The first song I heard from Elvis is JAILHOUSE ROCK. A good beginning a think![]()
Elvis grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
the courage to change the things I can
and the wisdom to know the difference
My first post!!
The first song i heard was "Return to Sender", it was when i was really little.
I actually thought the lyrics were "Return to December". Crazy.
I was raised on Elvis so Im not really for sure but I vaguely remember "Are you Lonesome Tonight" being the first one I really paid attention to.

I was eleven years old listening to my parent's radio when I first heard "That's All Right Mama". I've loved the sound of his voice ever since.
Diane
It was a song from my dads 78's records [who remembers them]
either Tutti fruitti or Party .... wow ....![]()
i'd just got home from school, it was a friday i'm pretty sure, and i heard 'crying in the chapel', because my mum had bought the famous number 1 hits album .but the first 3 songs 'heartbreak hotel', don't be cruel, and hound dog told me that 'this guy is awesome!'
and yes i'm 14, and proud of being an Elvis fan!![]()

In The Ghetto,I think I was 4 or 5yrs old.
I don't quite remember, but probably "Blue seude shoes" or "Love me tender"...The first album I fell in love was X-mas one...with the wonderful "Santa Claus is back in town"
Yes...you called, honey?
When I was 5 or 6 my mom had a tape in the car with Suspicious Minds on it and I would always ask her to play "we're connin' a trap!"
Well, I am not sure but think it was HOUND DOG.
Destination deals the cards we're just playing.
I was sitting in History class just a good 5-6 months ago, when we started watching a movie and there Elvis was swinging back and forth to Hound Dog. And that obviously still captivates a young girls attention.![]()
my frist song has to be.
Burning love-and ithink it was in 1974 and its still playing on the radio
then my mom or dad got me the camden album that has burning love on it.
id play that thing over and over.
even though it has his movies tunes in it.
