Fine cover, Jeanno.
In comparison to the version you presented in the artwork discussion thread you have greatly improved the design.
Finally, I got it!![]()
Following SPINOUT advice, I left out "It?s a matter of time" that didn?t fit well in that particular context.
Hope you like it.

UNCHAINED / MANHATTOE
Happy you like this design.![]()
For some unknown reason, I upload the inlay but still doesn?t work when you pick it up!I?ve changed the file?s name and uploaded it over and over again : no way!
What can I do?
I had no problem with any of the files, Jeanno.
I can download them via "Save as" and open a new browser window with the real size pix as I like it.
A very interesting and unique concept you came up with Jeanno - I like it very much![]()
"Don't tamper with the property of the U.S. Male"
MANHATTOE :
Happy it can be downloaded!
BIG BOSS MAN :
Happy you like this one!I have to watch your "Steamrolling Charlotte".

Came together real nice, Jeanno - much improved from the original preview, and let's not forget what a coherent concept album you've compiled with the tracklist.
Quoting the lyrics the way you have has proved to be an inspired way to keep the diary theme consistent throughout, and you seem to have mastered the realistic torn photo technique.
Great project![]()

'What, honey ? ..... one scarf for the balcony ?! ........... OK ........... gimme a baseball ! ............ there's no way unless you put a rock in it'.
(Las Vegas - 7th December 1975)
Despite the fact that the design looks good, I want to add that I found the concept somewhat pathetic.

SPINOUT :
Thanks!I think that, to get a good and enjoyable disc, the tracklist must be as coherent as possible. I just don?t like those filler CDs with tones of tunes without any connection (except for anthology or boxset projects).
It isn?t that easy to do the "torn-pic" effect, but I like the result!![]()

You have to detail that quote a little bit more!Despite the fact that the design looks good, I want to add that I found the concept somewhat pathetic.![]()

Do you mean it is something like a teenage project?
I found this concept and design very interesting.
Bravo, jeanno!![]()

The overall look of the design is (again) very original and tasteful. The idea behind it is also very, very good. I would have chosen a slightly different setlist, but that's just personal....
One minor point: I think it will improve your design if you'd use a picture not more than one time per design.
Other than that: perfecto![]()
Thanks Albert for your kind comments :
I put that pic again here because :I think it will improve your design if you'd use a picture not more than one time per design.
- It?s very different presentation compared to the GONE FOLK cover. Most of my friends that saw both designs didn?t recognize it.
- It?s one of my fave pics.![]()
How would be your SETLIST?
My divorce setlist would be something like:
1. Seperate Ways
2. It's Over
3. Fool
4. Seperate Ways
5. For The Good Times
6. It's Still Here
7. I Miss You
8. For Ol' Times Sake
9. It's Midnight
10. My Boy
11. Loving Arms
12. I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry
bonus:
13. She Still Thinks I Still Care
14. It's Easy For You
These song were actually recorded during his divorce period, which gives the songs that extra drama. "The Sound Of Your Cry" is truly an amazing song, but sung by Elvis during one of his happiest periods in life.
I've added "She Thinks I Still Care" and "It's Easy For You" because they look back on a divorce or broken relation
This is a very interesting setlist.
The reason I did not use any STAX material is, mainly, because of the ELVIS AT STAX album that is already in the forum (and both DIARY and AT STAX are to be in the same "FMF collection" and I didn?t want to repeat tracks from a CD to another).
But considering a non-FMF album, your setlist would fit pretty well.![]()
Very nice jeanno![]()
I like the torn photo effect.
Love your new avatar as well![]()
Thanks Lorraine for your kind comments! (including those about the BLUES ANTHOLOGY too). Happy you likle the avatar : the pic I used is one of my all times favourit!![]()
Sorry, Jeanno - I was very busy during the last weeks and couldn't find the time to detail my quote. So first of all: I didn't want to offend you, but I always found that the private part of Elvis belongs to him and so was his divorce from Priscilla. That was and will never be a thing that has any interest for me, because I think that this is so intimate and I don't want to be like a fly on the wall. Therefore I found your concept of doing an album like "Diary of a seperation" a little pathetic.
You have to detail that quote a little bit more!![]()
