I have read that he had slightly "done" the skin around his eyes, so that afterwards the sexy "eye droop" was gone...and in the 50's he presumably did smth to prevent the acne on his face...
Can anyone tell me the circumstances on why Elvis chose to get plastic surgery at such a relatively young age (40). I know he went to the hospital in June 75, and even the plastic surgeon and Dr. Nick told him not to do it. Just wondering if anyone can give more light to this?

Yes...you called, honey?
If I had to venture a guess...and this is COMPLETELY a guess....I would say that Elvis was probably feeling down about having turned 40, and he probably had the surgery done as a way to "cope" with it, so to speak!
If I remember correctly, didn't Elvis supposedly call one of his buddies on his 40th birthday, sounding depressed about turning 40? Wish I could remember who he supposedly called....I'm thinking it was Ed Parker, but I am not entirely sure....
Does anyone remember this story and know who it was that Elvis supposedly called?

It's correct. He did call Ed Parker in the wee hours of the morning of his 40th birthday. About the plastic surgery; it has been said it was to remove the bags under his eyes. Also the scar just above his left eyebrow disappeared but I don't know if it had anything to do with that operation. As you probably know he got injured just above his left eye during the shooting scene of Roustabout in 1964 when he drove his motorcicle through a fence. You could stil see that scar in close ups during his 1969 press conference.
Speaking of plastic surgery, how do you think Priscilla looks on EBTP. `Plastic Priscilla' is my description.
She's too fake looking.

I agree about Priscilla's mouth - that's where she looks pretty scary, particularly when she laughs.
A few wrinkles and sags would be much more attractive than such a fake look.
Lisa ain't looking too bad though

Lisa Marie looks fan-stinking-tastic IMO!!!! I think she is beautiful. Now Priscilla back in the day was a knock out. But seriously, I know I have said this before but I try not to look at Pris in the face now because it gives me nightmares!!!!Seriously, I wont sleep a wink tonight just talking about it!!!!!!! LOL!
Does she not see herself when she looks in the mirror????? Im confused. I thought people who had plastic surgery wanted to look better?? She looks like a caricature of herself or something. Well I might as well pick out a good movie to watch tonight since I wont be sleeping!!!!!!!! LOL!!!

If they ever came out with a movie called " The Mom of Chucky" Priscilla would get the part- no contest. She would even beat Michael Jackson for the role!!!(no offense MJ fans) I love his music too!!! Don't Burn my house down!!!

At what point did he have plastic surgery on his nose? I remember a story Joe Esposito told of how they went together to get their nose done... Elvis was nervous, so Joe went first to make sure it would turn out ok. Has anyone else ever heard this story? Is This true?
I've heard this story, but in the version I heard it was George Klein who went first.Originally Posted by nabelt24

I'm sure I read somewhere that he got his nose done in 1956, whether it's true or not I don't know....
Yes,E.P got his nose done in early'57.He got George Klein to go first then he went and did it.
He also had the first layer of skin burnt off his face to remove the acne scars. The funiest storys are the ones when he got his face done and asked the guys into his room and just sorta held up his head and asked them what they thought. Elvis hadn't told them he was going to get it done, and none of them noticed!
