I've always thought his hair looked SUPERB in publicity shots for "Harum Scarum".

As a man, Elvis probably looked his best in 1969/1970.

I definitely prefer the Elvis 70s hairstyles over any other, but this look was a great one and not typical at all for the movie years.

I like the most of his hair styles, but 1968-1972 is my favorite. It,s most becoming and really awsome! I,m tempted to mess up his hair with my own fingers! i love to feel his soft nice hair in my own hands!!

Sorry, don't like that style. It looks like my hair now and I dislike it that way.

Elvis' hair also looked very good in his early films (Loving Me Tender through to Flaming Star). I mean... it suited him down to the ground AND was a cultural icon. That's some achievement.

If there's a flatter look I like pre-70s, it's how he had his hair in Change of Habit. God, that man had amazing features! What's more, he looked manly without having to sport the musclular body of modern "heart-throbs" like George Clooney and Brad Pitt. Anwyay, Change of Habit:

    Wink

    Have to say:

    Loving You
    Jailhouse Rock
    GI Blues
Speedway - little longer and has some sideburns

    Cool burns:
    Change Of Habit
    Trouble With Girls
    TTWII

'68 Special is cool when his hair is messed up, but when it's really combed I don't really like it very much.

    WORST:

    Girls, Girls, Girls
    Pot Luck LP
It Happened At The World's Fair
    Viva Las Vegas

got a little better in Roustabout and Tickle Me BUT seriously sucked in almost every movie after that up until Speedway

Although I will have to say that Jonathan Rhys-Meyers hair was actually superior to all of the above.

    Just kidding

Elvis' style is the best. I love it!!! Talking about hairstyle... Well, I'm fascinated with that 50s. classic (and very sexy) one. Anyway, the king was really handsome.
Let the stars fade and fall, and I won't care at all, as long as I have you.

Back then, a slim waist and being thin was certainly the style and not the muscular look you see today. Either way, EP was incomparable.

What don't you like about 73' and 74'? Just wondering since you chose all of the other years.
