Fantastic! I hope it's a substantial amount.
EPE confirmed that on the new "Elvis By The Presleys" DVD set, footage of the uncompleted karate documentary "The New Gladiators" will be used. EPE owns footage from all cameras, not just the one angle we know so far.![]()

that's really great news. it'll be nice seeing everything that was shot.![]()
This is grate news. Seeing this footage from different angles will be cool.
Just see how the story build up! we now have people lining up to buy the DVD with multiple angles yet !!!!![]()
Regarding this CD (changing gears slightly here), Disc 2 is a bit interesting; Blue Christmas '77 and two of the Thompson home recordings from '73 are certainly inspired choices, but...
Why only 8 songs? Yeah, they're bonus songs, I get it, but 8 songs on a CD just seems a little cheesy to me.
And why only 2 of those home recordings? Granted, those two are the best of the bunch, but that entire "session" is such a delight to listen to, and it should be heard in its entirety. I suppose the remainder of songs may be spread out on occasional releases from now til who knows when.
But, oh well...the DVD and book both seem to have a lot going for them.

I don't care about karate. I don't want to watch anyone(even Elvis) doing karate. I hated that part of "This Is Elvis". The New Gladiators? I don't care.
