Don't know what you up to but this looks promesing![]()
Just thought i'd drop in and give you guys a sneak peek at something I'm working on. But don't expect it to be finished any time soon with my work load at school getting larger by the minute. It's been so long since I shared something with you guys, and you're all probably starting to forget me. This is just to let you know i'm still around![]()

"Don't tamper with the property of the U.S. Male"
Well, as long as you grace us with such designs, we certainly won't forget you.
As the others, I do not know what you are up to, but my imaginations has already begun to spin around and around and around.
That pic of Elvis looks great. And the smoking microphone: not bad, not bad ...
What will it become? A cover for some smokey jazz ballads (well, Elvis recorded not very much of that kind, unfortunately) or a compilation of rocking tunes?
so far i'm impressed with what i see. i look forward to whatever it will be when it is finished![]()
Don't know if you have a title for this yet, but for whatever it's worth, Singin' The Hell Out Of It immediately came to my mind. It seems like it would be an apt cover for a CD of some of the jams, the long versions of songs, the ones in which he just didn't want to quit, and basically really smokin'-hot rockers.
Anyway, very cool design and I hope you don't mind me giving my thoughts on what it could become.
...you won't forget me when I go.
Thanks guys. I'm not really sure myself what this will be called or what songs will be on it. I seem to do this a lot. Create designs without a concept in mind of what will be on the CD. The concept usually comes from what the design looks like.
And Bobby, thanks. I'll keep that in mind for sure![]()
Very impressive! This would fit perfectly in a rock album, for sure. The pic?s from 1968 i guess, so it could be for a blues rock album from 1967/1968 (you know, US MALE, BIG BOSS MAN, HI HEEL SNEAKERS, GUITAR MAN, TOO MUCH MONKEY BUSINESS, ALLC, etc). Whatever it will be, very nice way to start it!![]()
Thanks jeanno. The pic is actually from a Fun In Acapulco publicity shot. That's still a good idea that I will consider though
