    Question Favourite Elvis Concert CD's

    Folks, I need your help

With some help and advice from my good buddy, NightRider, I have recently added 2 more Elvis concert Cd's to my ever growing collection, 'Hampton Roads' & 'Opening Night - Las Vegas Hilton Showroom Jan 26th 1972'. Cheers mate

I was wondering if any of you out there could please recommend your favourite concerts, or concerts which you feel show Elvis at his best, which you think I, or others for that matter, could add to their collection.

Any suggestions will be gratefully received

    John

    Hi John,

I took the liberty of moving your thread from off topic to here, 'cause I felt it belonged here, my friend.

Anyway, here are some of my favorites:

Double Dynamite (two audience recorded shows, August 19, 1970 dinner & midnight. Despite the fact these aren't soundboards, those shows really kick butt, you know!)

Opening Night (Vegas, January 26, 1972)

The Greensboro Concert (April 14, 1972)

Elvis At Full Blast (Vegas, August 11, 1972)

Guaranteed To Blow Your Mind (Richmond, March 18, 1974)

Night Fever In Vegas (Vegas, August 30, 1974 midnight)

Desert Storm (Vegas, September 2, 1974 Closing)

Movin' Mobile (Mobile, June 2, 1975 afternoon)

Let Me Take You Home (Memphis, June 10, 1975)

Goodbye Memphis (Memphis, July 5, 1976)

Old Times They Are Not Forgotten (Tuscaloosa, August 30, 1976)

Holding Back The Years (Cincinnati, March 21, 1976)

    Bye,
    Sonny

    Thanks Sonny,

This is my first ever thread so your help is most welcome.

A big thankyou to both of you for your suggestions . Your 2 lists alone should keep me busy searching for several months (or years!!)

Not sure how the wallet will take it though
