    Elvis-Brookville

Time to give covers a go again, before I get rusty. (Maybe to late )

This is my remake of the T.V. album from the early 70'. It was just called 'ELVIS', and was an RCA Special Products release, along with Brookville Marketing.

Some have credited this album with sales of 10 million

So it's about time to bring it to the cd age!

This is the first piece of work I've come across of yours, Jeff, and I must say that I do like the stark contrast in the colours that you've used (but then my living room is soon to become yellow & lilac!!!! )

Only kidding - I like it very much & intend searching out more of your work soon.

Wow, it looks like it would glow in the dark!!!

Yes !!! This is what the crowd want, more designs from the world famous New Jam studios.

Never heard of the LP before, however, you've given it that touch of LP cover nostalgia with a heavy helping of New Jam originality.

My only critique at this stage would be, maybe that array of little rounds together, when taken in addition to the 3 font types, plus the circle effects and the Elvis figure is just that one element too many.

    Sometimes, less is more

Great to have you back in the saddle though brother Jeff !

Your fabulous cover for Blue Rainbow made me curious about your first cover.

This one is nice too, but your second design is superior by far.

A strong effect like the one you used is flashy at first sight, but it becomes a bit boring when you look at it several times. And I don't think it really fits to Elvis music.

    FANTASTIC DESIGN JEFF!!!

It's GREAT to see you creating some new artwork my friend!!! I've missed your AWESOME designs!!! I have this album in my collection, and the original cover was SO boring!!! You've certainly brought it to life with this design!!

And as ComeBackChick suggested....the fact that your cover appears to glow in the dark would make an AWESOME selling point!!!

KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK BUDDY!!!!
    TCB!

I'm ancious to see what you come up with as far as the inlay and the back portions.........you could have a masterpiece on your hands here?

Not a snowballs chance in hell, I will finish this. Went blind doing the front... Something to do with having my retinas burn... So, I was told.

Even your avatar is starting to look like that cd cover!

    Please stop!

No, just kiddin' It does have some appeal you know, it reminds me of one of those eighties double album covers, but I can't remember the title right now.

    Keep up the nice work!

b.t.w. did you get my pm? The answer to yours?
Then again, if you went blind you will never know what's in it, right?

    THANKS BUDDY!!!

I have really missed visiting the board these past few weeks and chatting with everyone! With all of the work I've been doing on the house (especially with the nicer weather upon us finally), plus keeping up with everything at my job, my computer time has been EXTREMELY limited lately! But I am hoping to jump right back into the board and try and get caught up as much as I can with everything that's been happening while I was gone!!

I TRULY appreciate your kind words Jeff! THANK YOU SO MUCH for such a warm welcome-back!!

    TCB!
