Thread: Flasback & Spinout

    Got Flashback and Spinout today!

Haven't listened to Spinout and the Flashback cd yet. The packaging of Spinout is beautiful, just like the other FTD soundtracks.

    Flashback looks awesome!

I went through it briefly, but in it sure are some beautiful b/w and color pictures from 1956 to 1958.
Some great behind the scenes pics from the early movies and pics of our man hanging out in Hollywood, in the dressing room and so on. And a lot of very nice pictures from the early concerts, including Hayride, Dorsey, Steve Allen and Memphis!

    One terrific book!!!

    Haven't ordered Flashback

But I should be receiving Spinout any day now. I already have the "Spin-in, Spin-out" import CD with outtakes in stunning sound. How's the soundquality of this FTD?

As long as the sound is better than the "Frankie And Johnny" FTD release I'll be happy. The complete session has been released in full on the bootleg "The Complete Spinout Sessions" but the sound wasn't as good as the few outakes we got on "Spin In Spin Out"

I personally can't wait to hear the Binaural tracks on "Flashback"

But normally I order my cd?s at Music service Elst, but this time the cd?s (and book) don?t see to be on there website.
So I have no choice but to order them at ?rare collectors Utrecht? or ?It?s Elvis Time? (thank god for all the great Elvis shops )

The book is great by the way, love the pictures, off course the themes are familiar but there are stille a lot of great pictures I hadn't seen before. It is printed on nice glossy paper. I would say go for it.

Something wrong with the cd player :bash: So I could not listen to the cd's yet
