Ya know, I never thought I'd see the day when I would walk through the house, looking for my wayward bunny, and shouting, "Eeeeelllllllvvvvviiiiissssss! Elvis! Come out, Elvis! Be a good boy Elvis! I've got a treat Elvis!"!
When I finally find him chewing up the phone cord, I pick him up and say "Bad Elvis! Bad!"
People around me say I've changed....
I took Elvis (bunny) to his castration this morning. The poor fella is staying overnight at the hospital, to make sure he doesn't pull his stitches out. It was a little traumatic for him--he said to me, "Little Mama, these are my GUYS! I don't want them cut off! Why, Red and Sonny have been with me most of my life!"
Anyway, as some consolation, I reminded Elvis of what Red and Sonny did, and the best thing for him to do was to cut them off for good...and we did!
I miss the little guy, and can't wait for him to come home. I sure hope he doesn't miss the guys...I should have taken a picture of them, so Elvis would have a momento!
I hope Elvis is feeling better now..
