New Rules For This Forum

Hi folks,

It's great to see that so many people are working on alternate covers and that the quality is so high

But now this forum is starting to look a bit too unorganized. So the moderators decided to change the two alternate coverart forums. These are the two new forums:

• (alternate) Artwork discussion and Work-In-Progress
• (alternate) Artwork Gallery

(Alternate) Artwork discussion and Work-In-Progress:
Here you can request artwork, show artwork that's still work in progress and talk about designing techiques.

(alternate) Artwork Gallery:
This is the forum where you can show your final release. The first post in a new topic should have an example of the cover (front/back/etc.) and a link to where it can be downloaded (Tip: you can also zip the covers and attach them to the first post).


During the forthcoming days the moderators will move the topics into the right forums. It's also possible that some posts will be edited slightly. We hope that this wayt people can enjoy the alternate artwork even more

gotta say that is a excellent idea.this way when a fan wants to look at/download a alt cover they dont have to hunt through all the topics to get them. you know albert if you want to make the cover downloadable and attav=ch a zip file,do you use the fille attachmets below,and will we be able to see how many downloads there have been if we do so? aron

Yup

You can attach images, documents (pdf, html, doc, txt) and archives (rar and zip). So you can zip the files, and use the attach button to upload it to your post. The uploadscript runs for (I believe) 30seconds, so it has to be uploaded within that timelimit.

But with an uploadspeed of 16 kb/s you should be able to upload around 500kb within that time. Otherwise you can also zip the files as part01 and part02 and attach part01 to the first post, and part02 to the second post.
