I would choose "I Can't Stop Loving You" from the "Lost Performances" video. I've not heard any bad performance of the song from 1972, but this one is especially intense and powerful. All of that footage from the Hampton Roads Concert is incredible. Also "Are You Lonesome Tonight?". Very serious version.
"I can't see my reflection in the water. I can't speak the sounds that show no pain. I can't hear the echo of my footsteps. I can't remember the sound of my own name" - Tomorrow Is A Long Time

    WOW!!! TOUGH QUESTION!!!

I'm having a hard time picking just one, but here are a few of my favorites:

SEE SEE RIDER from "Elvis On Tour"....have always loved his voice on this version!

BRIDGE OVER TROUBLED WATER from "Elvis On Tour"....just a GREAT version, in my opinion!

MYSTERY TRAIN/TIGER MAN from "That's The Way It Is - Special Edition"....love the way he moves!!

    BUT....
If I had to pick JUST ONE, it would probably be AMERICAN TRILOGY from "This Is Elvis" -- I absolutely LOVE the way he hits the ending notes!!! SO POWERFUL....this song is in a class all by itself, ESPECIALLY this version!!!

    TCB!

Wow so hard to choose just one, so I'll choose more

    1) MYSTERY TRAIN/TIGER MAN, this tune just rocks and is full on energy

    2) YOU GAVE ME A MOUNTAIN (Alternate Aloha), More loose than the Aloha version great song.

    3) LITTLE SISTER/GET BACK (TTWII) Very under rated, would love to see this done on stage.

    4) I GOT A WOMAN (TTWII) Just a great track that blows me away, I never get tired of hearing it.

Just as a side issue, does anyone know where you can get a copy of "This Is Elvis" on DVD?

    Matt
