Here is a little different back cover, wich one do you all prefer?
Hi Patrick,
I definitely prefer the first version (the one first posted, that is).
That's the highlight of the cover, because it is full of atmosphere.
The typeface is clearly legible and the whole design simply looks fine.

Great Artwork Patrick, love the Doowop thing too.
For this one:I would switch the pics on the cover design: the backstage pic to the left and the stage pic to the right... just a thought!
Well, the stage pic is the more attractive certainly, but it suggests live recordings.
The backstage is something in between, and although it is not a killer it is an ample choice for the front cover.
Just my two cents.
PS: Do I read that right? You spell the trying Susan with z?
ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT PATRICK!!!!![]()
I LOVE THE WHOLE PACKAGE!!!! You have created a masterpiece here my friend!! I have always thought LOVE COMING DOWN was one of his most underrated ballads of the '70's, and I am personally THRILLED to see you feel it worthy of being the title track to your collection!!
I LOVE the tracklisting you've created for this project, and that back cover photo is KILLER!!!! Speaking of back covers, I personally like the original back cover you posted as opposed to the second one. I think the red hue on the second cover really detracts from the beauty of the project!
KEEP UP THE AWESOME WORK PATRICK -- THIS ONE IS DEFINITELY A WINNER!!![]()

Thanks Mike! Love coming down is my personal favorite, so i wanted to do something with that song. And this album is the result of it. If only sony/bmg did something like this..a 70's collection i mean.Originally Posted by Jungleroom76

As you can see there are 3 bonus songs on it, from the 60's....so the next cover will be a follow up..the 60's collection..
And for the pics i used: the one one the front, is for me, one of the coolest pics i've ever seen and is perfect for this cover, the insert cover is with the same suit (so in that way there is a little balance in the cover) and the little pics are from different stages in the 70's (1970, 1974 and 1976) so it makes a little sense that it covers the whole 70's..
Sure this is an amazing set you made here Patrick
Wonderful frontcover, like the colors to, and a great setlist
i go for your first backcover...
Great job![]()

I am quite anxious to see which 60's song you select as the title track for this project!!! Perhaps FOOLS FALL IN LOVE???That's always been one of my favorite 60's songs....I always thought that song would make a great title track for a 60's album!!!!

Thx! the 60's cover will be on hold for a few days..cause i'm working on a fantasy concert for New Jam Radio! I've allready completed the cd-r, took a long time to edit the songs togheter..and now i have to work on that cover and a poster..that thing has priority number 1..so keep watching this space for this cover and the concert line-up... This concert is mainly based on 3 concerts: Greensboro (72), Hampton Roads (72) and The Aloha Show (73), but with a setlist that you won't expect! i played this concert today and it rocks!...
And for the working title of that 60's collection..it is (for now): Fever!
FEVER is an excellent title for your 60's compilation Patrick....I never even thought of that one!!!![]()
Your fantasy concert you are working on for Jeff sounds most intriguing....ESPECIALLY the tracklisting that we wouldn't expect!! CAN'T WAIT to see what you come up with!!!![]()
