So great news, I finally found a slap bass player for my 3 piece rockabilly band.

Here's a clip from our first rehearsal this week:

Really liked your solo playing! The only thing in sound balance - it is not so easy to discern all the words of the vocals.
The instrumentation and music remind me of Roy Orbison's Sun records!

How long had you been looking for a slap bass player?

The whole project started in April with me finding Lee the drummer. We had 3 rehearsals since then and this was the fourth, the first though with this bass player Jake.

The sound is unmixed and just picked up from the video camera mike in the room. I know I can't sing but it's just a bit of fun to let off some steam.

Thanks for the feedback. Really appreciated

    You're welcome!
By all means your singing is good for the kind of music being played. Impossible to tell how you would treat a ballad though.

Isn't it weird that I haven't done an up-tempo song and you seem to focus on.. well, up-tempo?

Recording with a video camera - yes I know the limitations, of course. Some words that are hard to make out would be quite alright with more sophisticated equipment, I'm sure.
