Rosanne, do you remember what the atmosphere was like at these shows?? I always thought that it may have been kind of a cold amosphere for Elvis, a tiny stage , no big orchestra and being so far away from the fans!
Thanks
Paul
Cool 70's
That is a good question PaulV.
Wondering if Elvis was feeling kinda small out there!

I remember well...I actually taped both shows. The atmosphere was good in that the audience was receptive....but he was a million miles away. The sound was not great either. And I was used to seeing him in Vegas, so you can imagine the difference. But....it was better than NOT being there.I also remember almost getting squished at the railing, I had seats on the front row..so when he came out in the jeep there were thousands of women pushing from behind.

Those were interesting shows. He had no orchestra behind him for these concerts.Just the TCB band. The bootleg cd called Event #8 is very interesting to listen to.

I agree PaulV. !!It would be amazing!

Great pictures. Thank you.
Goodbye Rosanne...Your "family" in TCB will always remember you.
One other thing I remember Paul. The show at night was better to watch than the afternoon show because it was dark, so all you would see was the stage. At the afternoon show there was alot of distraction because it was broad daylight in there. I looked and found my pics from that afternoon...they are almost exactly how these pics look.![]()
Rosanne, I was going to ask you if you took pictures, I would LOVE to see some of yours!I think I would have prefered the night show too
Thanks again for sharing!

Rosanne,
You wouldn't happen to be the Rosanne that had a pen pal from Houston named Gail would you?
Hey Rosanne,
