Hy All, I always been a fan of classic -oldies and goodies- music.. So it saddened me to know that Andy Williams passed away last month 09/25/2012 , he was 84.. I felt lucky to have seen many of his shows here in town, as you may know he own a Theater here ' the Moon River " ..... What Christmas be like without his music ? I just thought of sharing some of his songs from you tube, I hope you all will enjoy it .

his Closing number on every TV show he used to have.... a beautiful yet a real tear jerker ...:`(
Jesus Christ I can't believe that Andy Williams died. What a shock! Still 84 is a good age. Was never really a huge fan but I guess he was a good singer.
Kajo, I am still in shock too . He was diagnosed with bladder cancer November 2011 last year, during his performance he announced it to the audiences, .. and last month 09/25 he died here in his home in Branson,Missouri .. Two days ago they held a memorial service for him at his MoonRiver Theater, The Mayor of Branson , The Lennon Sisters , The Gatlin Brothers, and The Osmonds were there to pay tribute .. He will be sorely missed, a sweet and wonderful gentleman he was .
Yeah I can't believe it. Poor guy. Bladder cancer is evil. Any cancer is bad. My aunt is 61 years old. Last week one day before her birthday they took one whole side of the breast off. It must be terrible to cope with it. I hope she will be mentally stable enough to cope with it. Wll to go back to Andy I'm quite happy that all those people came to pay tribute to him it would mean the world to him if he was alive. I guess he's in a better place now watching all over his fans and family.
Kajo...sorry for the late reply, yes cancer is terrible disease for men or women.. my ex mother in law was a survivor, but she lost half of her lungs, the doc had to cut part of her tummy due to stomach cancer which had spread,it was sad to watch her dealing with her daily routine, she had to have breathing device to help her breath, she had bags on her tummy , she cant go 'number two' like most of us.. but she was grateful to be alive, the matter of fact i spoke to her not too long ago, she still around and healthy
Yes, I think Andy legacy lives on, at least in the smalltown where i live,..they are now placing Christmas decors, it is always amazed me of how Christmas begin in November at his theaterLOL...
