Elvis death cover-up....very disturbing

Back in 1979, the popular American news show 20/20 ran a special 1 hour episode on the death of Elvis and the discovered cover-up. After watching this on Youtube (from a thread on FECC) and seeing the evidence that has to this day been sugarcaoted and hidden form the Elvis world, I am now more than ever convinced that Elvis was MURDERED. If will have to watch it for your self and then come up with a final conclusion. The fact that Dr Nick prescribed over 5,000 pills for Elvis from 1975-77 at a rate of 25 per day, the fact that he was broke and needed money from Elvis, the fact that denied it when confronted when records showed that he did, the fact that all of the content (drugs) pumped out of Elvis' stomach during the autopsy were immediately dissolved of and not studied, and the fact that the autopsy did NOT reveal nor determine by professionals of any heart failure or cause of death at all, tells me that there was a plot to cover up the death without a criminal investigation.Therefor, involuntary manslaughter by Dr. Nick.

Too much evidence was uncovered back then that to this day is still being brushed under the rug. Below are all 6 parts of this 1 hour special investigation. It is sad, depressing and disturbing to say the least.

Vivaelvis thanks for posting but I don't want to watch it cos I got upset seeing how Elvis was at the end of his life, how his once lovely blue eyes changed to black lifeless eyes. I would rather celebrate Elvis life with the legacy of his music that he left for us all to enjoy, than to watch something that would upset me even more and it doesn't do any good, cos we can't bring Elvis back.

I always, so badly, wanted to believe that you are still alive, as it would help with the pain.

Seeing your coffin photo, after seeing the "still" of other people in their coffin who have passed away, I know you are gone, I wish you weren't, so very much.

You were so sick, yet you tried to keep going for everyone else. You were a wonderful human being, gone too soon. They take the good ones early, I truly believe that.

Well, I gues if they can throw MJ's doctor in the slammer for essentially the same thing, then I think Dr. Nick got off easy. He should have seen some jail time as he (along with Elvis himself) was most responsible for Elvis' death. Homicide, perhaps. Murder, no.

You can see my own thoughts upon this by rereading numerous posts over the last 10 years on the subject in those dozens of threads.
To sum up my thoughts to save you the time-yes some things were done incorrectly, yes some people wanted to protect the memory of Elvis, yes people reacted incorrectly. But there was no grand thought out scheme-people reacted in the moment of great shock, stress, and horror. Some were use to protecting secrets of Elvis that could have harmed his public image-they continued in that vain even in death.
Elvis was a friend to many in Memphis, police, people at BMH etc-he was loved.
All I can add is that in the 1994 investigation of Nick-the state asked world renowned forensics expert Dr. Joseph Davis to look at all the autopsy findings..... lab results, cultures, bloodwork, physical samples, and after months of review he found that Elvis died of a massive heart attack that had nothing to do with drugs.......but he added that long term overuse of prescribed medicines had weakened his system and probably brought upon an early death.
Heart attacks happen to the most healthy of individuals, totally unexpectidly, totally without warning.... athletes have them super healthy hearts and many times the reason is unsure.
Why bring this up right right before Elvis Week.... where everyone is geared to celebrate the life and accomplishments of Elvis in a joyful way?

'There is nothing, in any of the data that supports a death from drugs. In fact, everything points to a sudden, violent heart attack.'

I'm sorry but if you decided not to watch the 6-part video then you do not know what was shown, or what was said and uncovered. Vasco Smith went to his grave claiming that Elvis did NOT die from heart failure. Dr Nick today claims that it was due to "constipation". Not true at all. They would have known that 35 years ago instead of supposedly finding out years later. The autopsy photos, and photos taken of Elvis lying on his bathroom floor dead, are still missing. I bet you didn't know about that, did you?

Like Rock&Roll said, if MJ's doctor can go to jail for practically the same thing, then Nick got off easy. Even a retired police chief of LA said it was a cover up and was somewhat murder.

I know it's a sensitive subject with some fans. But if he were your father, wouldn't you want to know what really happened and if a cover up was made to protect someone's profession and freedom? I know that I sure as hell would. And that is what happened. A cover up was made to prevent Nick and others who prescribed legal but illegal doses of medicine to this individual which was the cause of his death from being prosecuted in the murder of the biggest star to ever live.

Watch the videos and you will see the whole death of Elvis in a much different light. It will upset you that those doctors got away, but it will at least give you closure, 35 years later. I know it did for me because now I know in my heart, he didn't kill himself nor did a heart attack take him. It was irresponsible dosage prescribed by his doctor that caused his brain to shut down leading to his death. Therefor, it was murder.

Why bring it up? Because to this day, it is still being covered up for reason. I guarantee you once those involved have passed and cannot be held responsible then the truth will be revealed to the world. Remember, Vernon demanded that the real results from the autopsy to remain locked away until August 16, 2027. But I think they will be revealed before then.

Viva the autopsy photos would be kept under the strictest lock and key-now why would they do that???
Because they are not meant for you or me or anyone to see-and unscruptuleous people would beg borrow or steal to get their hands on them.
Dr. Davis saw the entire autopsy results and all materials related to them-unless you and others are insinuating that he would intentionally alter his true findings.....world renowned forensics expert, testified before Congress on drug related issues, has a spotless record...had no connection to the Elvis world until he was asked (because of his credentials) to go over the findings of the autopsy.
You speculate, many speculate....but this very interesting and informative bit of info from 1994 is always lost in the shuffle to find a "conspiracy"

This is a subject frought with speculation, a karate expert killed Elvis, he did not die a impersonator died, he is in the witness protection program and they faked his death.........Vernon sealed the autopsy results because it was no ones business and because he knew no matter what the cause someone would point to drugs.
Vernon did exactly what Jackie Kennedy did-she froze the autopsy results from publis scrutiny.
Elvis had a drug problem that led to his early death-but did not directly cause it-that is the official finding of Dr Davis.
Elvis did not die a "downer induced death" ala Belushi, Monroe, Hendrix-the majority of the medications Elvis took were depressants to the nervous system-people who die from those type deaths do not have massive violent heart attacks (in which they stand and try to walk, then crawl about 8 feet before collapsing and dying as Elvis did)
Downer induced deaths slow the person down, the heart begins beating slower, the breathing slows down, BP drops and the person falls into a deep sleep, then into a coma, their lungs fill with fluid because the heart is not pumping at normal rate and finally the heart stops or their drown in their own fluids or vomit.
Belushi, Monroe, Hendrix all died like this-they went to sleep and never woke up.......they did not have a violent heart attack that gripped them "while awake"

My heart aches anytime I watch anything like this, so I didn't watch it...sorry Viva.

When it was on in 79 I watched it, its so sad that so much noise can be made of a conspiratorial nature about Elvis, the Kennedys, Monroe, Dean, etc.......yet not one ounce of real "court worthy proof" can ever be produced in order to prove the claims "legally"
If Elvis was murdered, bring the case to court prove it and prove it conclusively, if he is in a witness protection program (another myth) prove it not- with circumstantial heresay evidence, but with real proof that stands up. These "theories" have almost always been related to projects that have made someone a bundle of money for books, videos, specials, movies etc.....they make great profit-but are not PROOF!

The proof that does stand up in court.....is always questioned as to authenticity or the time old "they were paid off" is given as reasoning for facts that do not meet the conspiratorial theorys.
35 years and the same old stuff is brought up....enough is enough.
