Hello all. I have watched the various performances of Elvis while in his early 70's Vegas years and have always been puzzled about the backdrop. It always seems to be a soft solid colour such as a yellow, or a dark purple etc. I've been trying to figure out how they might have achieved that affect with lighting and if they only used that technique while Elvis was playing at The International Hotel or If they used it often with other performers too. If anyone has any insight on this subject feedback would be highly appreciated. Also if anyone has any videos of other artist performing at the same venue around the same time period I'd also like to view those just to see what the stage might have looked like when he wasn't playing on it.
Here are some examples:
Thanks so much!
