Our English project for school: the Terminator and the American

    Hey everybody!

We (my fellow students and me) had decided to shoot a video. The intention was to create dialogues while having fun in the process. We've done it as an optional thing, so I guess our English teacher will be proud.

The Terminator, after having gone through time travel, decides to ask an American person for directions. He also needs some means of transportation and the appropriate clothes (his pants aren't made out of leather, so he'd need it in order to ride a motorcycle).

The Terminator usually arrives naked after time travel, but we had decided not to, in order to avoid the parental advisory thing.

It was thrilling to star as the Terminator and I wonder how you like our English project. Remember it is not our native tongue!

    This is the entire dialogue:

Terminator: Excuse me sir, can you tell me how to get into town?
American: Do you need/want the fastest or the cheapest way into town?
Terminator: I need to get there as soon as possible.
American: Alright. You need a motorized vehicle!
Terminator: Affirmative. Then I need your clothes, your boots and your motorcycle!
    American: You're welcome! Have fun!
    Terminator: I'll be back..

Very well done Fabian! The set of your facial features was perfect, so was the accent.

We're about to find out. I'm going to give her the link to the video tomorrow. The explanation I had written above will also be included. The content of this topic will actually be part of our school project!

    Glad you liked it!
The English language is interesting. I already know how to simulate UK,- and American English plus French, Italian, Spanish, Dutch, German and Austrian accents. More difficult are Irish and Scottish accents - would need some practice or just real-life Scotsmen or Irishmen around me.

Nice comment. Don't know what it was though.. genetics, acting or just both?

Of course, I will keep you all informed once the teacher has said or written something.
