good question Ken.......I have no idea, never heard any books talk about Tom Parker's reaction
I was wondering if anyone knew how Colonel Parker reacted to Elvis bolting to Washington alone then eventually arranging the Nixon meeting? Independance of action and thought were not what Parker liked from Elvis.
I know what Vernon, Priscilla, and many of the guys reactions were-but how about Parker?

That's a very interesting question, but I've never heard about what the Colonel thought either. Hope someone will be able to answer your question.
He said that dang Elvis, he needed to tell me so I could use that publicity and make money off of it.
I obviously don’t know.
