Long live Graceland indeed. I wonder what Elvis would think of his home being such a physical and even spiritual symbol of his musical gifts and legacy. I am going back this August and I can't wait.![]()
I'm sure he would be so happy that we love the place he loved-but I'll bet he would be busting a few gemstones off his white jumpsuit to know its been declared an official historic home for our nation.

True story, he never "got" how important he was and is to so many, but perhaps that is the beauty of it. :}
