He stayed on the Madison-East Wing on the sixteenth floor. His concert in Mobile, Alabama was canceled.

Elvis attended the California karate championships at the San Francisco Civic Auditorium. Elvis planned to do a brick breaking demonstration, but was unable to as his contract with the Sahara Tahoe Hotel would not allow him to do any personal appearances within thirty days of his engagements and a three hundred mile radius of Lake Tahoe.

Elvis arrives in Hampton Roads, Virginia at 2:00 p.m. He was rushed to the Coliseum for his 2:30 pm. performance.

Elvis performes in Richmond, Virginia at the Coliseum at 8:30 p.m 11, 500 fans attended the show that was filmed by MGM for the film " Elvis On Tour".

Elvis performs in Roanoke , Virginia at the Civic Center Coliseum at 8:30 p.m. 6, 500 fans attended the show. A Bomb threat delayed the show thirty minutes.
