this is the alt version of i got a woman that they used, they took it from the same show as Twenty days and twenty nights
Went to see "Elvis In Concert" 2 nights ago at the O2. I had never been there before- I had previously seen this show a few times at Wembley- including the very first one back in 1999 which was magical because none of us really knew what to expect, and it was still something very new at the time.
Well how does it compare 13 years later? Well, of course there are less original members now onstage and Myrna will always be missed. But Friday's O2 show still had the same amazing audience reaction and enough surprises which meant for me that the show has lost none of it's magic.
Let's start with the most important ingredient: Elvis on the main screen. The picture seemed sharper than ever this year- especially the Aloha footage it was much brighter and clearer than when I saw this show last time (about 3 years ago).
The sound mix was perfect and Ronnie's drums really hit you in the chest at certain points where there was a lot of action on screen.
I noticed a few minor edits in some songs- the video was the usual footage but it seems like they had edited in small parts of alternate versions- I noticed this in Love Me Tender when the woman in pink grabs him at the edge of the stage, a new comment had been edited in from Elvis where he says "We have to hurry up" or something.
I Got A Woman had a small part spliced in from a different version, as did All Shook Up.
As usual, the 2 biggest crowd pleasers were The Wonder Of You and Trilogy and the crowd did'nt dissappoint and as in previous years for Trilogy, virtually the entire stadium- friends, families and even complete strangers were grabbing each others hands and swaying their arms aloft.
There was a man sitting a few rows in front of me who kept trying to get everyone sitting near him up on their feet during a few of the early songs- but he needn't have bothered as by middle of the second half, a lot of people had started to stand up.
An amazing night.

i went to the concert on the 7th in ahoy, and 2 years ago same building.
I could see this tour there was some rejoined enthusiasm from the band members to. i never saw james smiling at those concerts then this year.
cant believe those are the last shows with the tcb band.
james stated himself that he would love to continue doing those shows in a recent interview
Great job, nice alternate take too .........
