Why is there no good official side about our man?

Unfortunately, I have got used with the time that there is no official web site which in detail deals with the life and work of Elvis. Although it is very sad actually. My gratitude therefore goes outside to the many untiring fans there who around Elvis operate informative and loving sides about different topics.

But why do Ernst and Roger not put any side via the FTD label into the net? One offers the collector a fantastic source with material and does not operate any side with information there. It would be so easy to use extracts from the booklets for it anyway. One could show cover and photos, data for the contents of the CDs and the books. References to the complete catalog and to cuts could be used there. Indications of the new publications and explanations of possible movings would be very helpful anyway.

I find Elvis has earned a well neat web site of an official side. What do you mean?

Well, for EPE, Elvis Presley is only a brand, a product, a tourist site that has to be promoted. They got a great site if you consider that. Of course if we are talking about the man, his music and talent, his life and times, you got to got to outside fan sites like this and a few other great ones. I guess maybe EPE knows that by now, fans can manage that better, so why bother if they are doing the work for free.

Now that might sound bad, but in fact it shows how creative and engaged Elvis fans are, and what a strong following Elvis has. I guess after all those DECADES of bad management around Elvis, we have learned T.C.B. on our own.

Anyway, I highly recomend to anybody looking for all of what you´re asking for to check out the Australian fan club site: http://biography.elvis.com.au/ that one in fact works perfectly fine as the official Elvis page!!! That one and TCB World are the ones I always point to people interested in learning more about Elvis.

there are a heap of really good sites that are not EPE, yes it would be excellent if EPE also did an Elvis site with the type of info that these sites have but i am forever grateful to all the people out there who maintain Elvis sites.
