On the 50th anniversary of the release of Elvis Presley's "Blue Hawaii," Harley Payette explores how the success of the film and the soundtrack album changed the direction of Elvis' career:
fans couldn't resist Elvis in pretty settings surrounded by pretty girls
we got what we wanted
there is no snooze button on a cat that wants breakfast.

shame Elvis didn't get what he wanted, or that Flaming Star and Wild in the Country weren't more succesful, I've lost count how many times I;ve watched them.
I hardly ever watch Blue Hawaii
I never looked for trouble but I never ran.
