Lack of Elvis' natural rhythm and overdone southern accent.....the two things that turn me off.

I know the answer,....Elvis is ONE of a kind,... so noone could be like him. I just hope the movie would not came out as making fool of Elvis,... i hope it is some thing they make out of respect and admiration of Elvis and his artwork. I think the movie will be enjoyable if we just surpass the 'looklike 'Elvis thing aside. Lets see how the story would go... Good Lord I just hope they will pull through and we finally have some thing descent to watch about Elvis.

I agree. Trying to imitate Elvi's" natural moves and charisma is going to end up looking quite unnatural.

I have always been interested in martial arts and especially enjoyed watching Bruce Lee on screen. Whenever I would see the countless imitators try to replicate his moves and mannerisms, it would look very foolish. Bruce Lee, like Elvis, also had that magical quality which translated effectively on the movie screen.

There is enough footage and music available from Elvis , that I believe makes it truly difficult, if not impossible, to bring about a true biography using other actors to play him.

I am also puzzled by the specific subject matter chosen for this proposed Elvis film ( Elvis meeting Nixon). Perhaps concentratiing on his astounding perfomance in 1969 would be a far more impressive display of his artwork, his stage presence and his contributiojn to music.
