The Lansky Store may have been a great store when Elvis used to purchase his clothes there. However, co-worker of mine bought some of their shirts a few yrs ago and the product was unimpressive. The shirts were of an inferior material and not sewn togehter very well. They were quite flimsy and the price was very high.

Probably just a sign of the times in terms of quality of material and workmanship...back when Elvis was a customer, clothing was made with much better material and more time spent on each item. And of course, Elvis was able to spend lots of money on his clothing, so his clothing was probably made with the best materials as opposed to what they normally sold to the regular "off the street" customers.

Nevertheless, I am happy to see that Lansky Bros. is going to be receiving the historical recognition that it, and its connection with Elvis, deserves!!

I have no doubt as to the the material and the craftsmanship being less important. This is not just with the merchandice I have seeen from Lansky's Brothers but from many companies. However, charging a premium figure for the material they have put on the market is an insult to the people that come to purchase their goods.

I agree that Lansky Bros. deserves to have it's place in history due to Elvis buying his clothing from them. They have a unique link to Elvis that merits their recognition.

I was actually in there yesterday and this is exactly what i found - over priced and poor quality.
