New FTD release in September of Richmond '74!!

This is fascinating news!! The Richmond concert is superb! Glad to finally see Mr Jorgensen wake up and release the stellar shows opposed to those really weak shows from '76 and '77. Maybe the criticism has become too much to bare. Meanwhile, back to the FTD release of the Richmond show. This will be the first FTD release that I will be purchasing in almost 3 years! I'll get it cheaper at Graceland when I go back in October.

Cool...let's hope the information is legitimate!!!

If the Richmond show is indeed the '74 show being included in the FASHION FOR A KING FTD book/CD set, then I wonder what show they will use as the '75 show being included with the set?? We could only hope it will be something from the July '75 tour, like Uniondale or Asheville!!!

The show from '74 on the Book/CD project isn't the Richmond show found on the bootleg, Guaranteed To Blow Your Mind. The show is the July 1, Omaha show in '74 which I think is the one on youtube in good quality. Here's the track listing.

    DISC 1

    1) See See Rider

    2) I Got A Woman / Amen

    3) Love Me

    4) Trying To Get To You

    5) All Shook Up

    6) Love Me Tender

    7) Hound Dog

    8) Fever

    9) Polk Salad Annie

    10) Why Me Lord

    11) Suspicious Minds

    12) Introductions

    13) I Canít Stop Loving You

    14) Help Me

    15) You Donít Have To Say You Love Me

    16) Bridge Over Troubled Water

    17) Let Me Be There

    18) Funny How Time Slips Away

    19) Big Boss Man

    20) Canít Help Fallliní In Love

    21) Steamroller Blues

Recorded July 1, 1974, at Auditorium Arena, Omaha, Nebraska.

Track 21 recorded July 2, 1974, at Salt Palace, Salt Lake City, Utah

It would be a great re-release and a fantastic opportunity for the Elvis fans to buy this show. Let's hope it's also worthwhile to buy this FTD release when you already own the Guaranteed To Blow Your Mind cd.

    Yes, that's the same show!!

That Omaha show is definitely a good one, and it will be GREAT to have it in soundboard quality!!

The He Touched Me FTD release will also be worth getting as there's been very little outtakes from that session. I've Got Confidence, Seeing Is Believing and I John are my favorites on that album.

Yes it is and I forgot to post it yesterday. Elvis was in good spirits during this engagement. Not crazy about the Vegas years post '72 but this might be worth getting. Just hope the sound quality is up to par or it'll be a major letdown.
