An actual CD release again? And with no songs from 1972? I thought the title was "The Very Best Of Elvis Presley Live"?!?

Come On! Burning Love from 1973 is the best live version of that song? Don't make me laugh. If they want to include a song from the Aloha, they should have included Steamroller Blues.

A very unbalanced album: too many golden oldies and the few contemporary songs don't really match the sound of the 1969 shows. But hey, Sony must know it better (looking at the extreme list of all those excellent compilations that RCA/BMG/Sony have released over the decades)

Basically it's the ELVIS IN PERSON AT THE INTERNATIONAL HOTEL album with a couple extras thrown in...

I agree with Albert that the BURNING LOVE cut from ALOHA is not the best live version of that song, but it looks to me like they are simply choosing cuts that come only from the official RCA releases and therefore that is the only live version of BURNING LOVE they have.

I was also surprised to see nothing from the MADISON SQUARE GARDEN show either...what about POLK SALAD ANNIE or THE IMPOSSIBLE DREAM?

Just another poorly thought out budget CD to add to the ever-increasing supply of poorly thought out budget CD's...

I think that's a rather disappointing release and 14 tracks, small ammount. And to top it off not one semi rare track amongst them, what about Big Boss Man, Fairytale, If You Talk in Your Sleep or even Hurt, The Impossible dream, Pacth it Up and Polk Salad Annie.

They could have chosen so many songs. But they release a tiny selcetion and from such a small timeframe. No fifties songs. Geez

There are a bunch of songs that we could point out but I've gotta agree that to not include Polk Salad from OnStage is comical to us diehards.
