As has been said many times, the director and producer did not do full concert tapings at each concert during the filming of EOT, they had a list of things they wanted to be recorded, Elvis's entrances, his exits, certain songs, certain crowd reactions shots, rear shots, balcony shots, marquees, city names on billboards, etc.....many many things that they had tentatively figured to be used in the films construction which were shot.
They also knew which concerts they would film in their entirety to construct the bulk of the concert footage. They may have filmed in many places-but that does not mean we have entire concerts for every date listed during this tour in 1972-although I wish it did.
