There were actually 2 of these specials and both of them were hosted by Bill Bixby from Las Vegas. They were 1 year apart and the second one is interesting because it actually set out to disprove most of what they had featured in part 1 the previous year.
The first ELVIS FILES was basically a rehash of Gail Brewer Giorgio's THE ELVIS CONSPIRACY video which had come out around the same time and she actually turns up on this as a guest.
Then the following year, Bill Bixby did it all again in the ELVIS FILES 2 but this time with the remit to prove that Elvis did indeed die on 8-16-77.
One of the highpoints of this second show is an appearance by ETA legend Johnny Harra who states that he believes Elvis is "no longer with us".
Then the infamous 1984 ELVIS & MUHAMMAD ALI photo gets a thorough demolishing. A man is brought on to the stage who for a time was Muhammad Ali's agent, and he identifies himself as the man in the photo.
The man's name is Larry Kolb and he says it was him and not Elvis Presley who is pictured standing in the shadows behind Muhammad Ali and Jesse Jackson in 1984. Bill Bixby then goes on to read a personal letter from Muhammad Ali who, in poem form, ridicules the notion that it was Elvis with him in this photo.
At the close of the show, Bill Bixby also states that he believes Elvis passed away on 8-16-77 and we should cherish his memory.
I have both of these specials on video and they are an interesting piece history from the outer limits of the Elvis phenomenom; they also feature appearances from Joe Esposito and Larry Geller.

Yeah, I've seen this special also. It's an old one. So it left me wondering: after all these years, why haven't we heard anything specific from this police officer's private research?

This is a very old video. Monty Nicholson has seperated himself from this several years ago. But, as he said; he couldn't say anything if he wanted to. Most of these questions have been answered. All anyone has to do is look.

In it she argued that the singer faked his death because superstardom had made his life a living hell. Thousands of people claimed to have seen The King in the weeks and months that followed. But their accounts and a few blurry photos of Elvis were never authenticated.
Possibility 2: Elvis is buried in a hidden or unmarked grave in or near Tupelo. During his psychic investigation of Presley’s tomb, Dr. Reiss sensed that The King was in or near Tupelo. It stands to reason that he could be buried there because Tupelo is his place of birth.
Possibility 3: Elvis was resurrected from the dead and taken directly to heaven. And though it may sound farfetched, there is compelling evidence to support this theory. Since the King died or disappeared in 1977, thousands of fans claim to have been healed after they mentioned his name in prayers, meditated over his picture or came face-to-face with his spirit.
Possibility 4: Elvis faked his death and traveled incognito for 12 years before he perished in a plane crash in Bolivia on Jan. 2, 1989. Longtime friend and confidante Jaime Chacon told the story last winter. But exhaustive efforts by Weekly World News and other media failed to uncover any hard evidence beyond Chacon’s word to support the story.
Possibility 5: The King’s remains were stolen.

dsstrattenfan Thanks for your input- but was it really neccessary to post the casket photo? Don't you think some of the fans on here will find it upsetting to see it no matter how many times they have seen it before.
I am assuming we all love the King on here very much and the photo you posted is something which a lot of people never want to lay eyes on again.

I am only going to say this and then thats it!! I have been a member here since 2008 and I havent had too many problems w/ anyone here really BUT I dont appreciate the tone of his reply if he had an issue that he should have contacted an admin or a mod or even be respectful enough to contact me privately...HOWEVER and this isnt directed to u Tigerman, but that picture has/had been posted here b4 ....I bit my tongue which is hard for me but he cant set and say "so called Elvis fans" what right does he have to speak like that? Who is he to judge who is a real fan or not? Just bc i have a tattoo of Elvis does that make me is #1 fan? or does the fact that I dont cringe when I see his coffin photo make me any any less of a fan? I remember seeing this on youtube before. At first, I thought maybe it was him. Then I thought maybe it was his ghost. I don't know for sure who/what it was.
I have a tv show from A&E and it shows EVPs taped at Graceland's gates the "medium" said Elvis is still there bc we fans cant let him go....IDK though I do believe in ghosts but have there be any major reports by past employees of strange occurrences? I mean I have heard of a few stories but not many

I have no problem with the casket photo hon. Just like I've never had a problem talking about his pharmaceutical issues or even the events surrounding his death. I dont understand why some people do.

I agree. It's nice to see someone take up for all Elvis fans. One is not more a "real fan" than another, IMO. I also think that anyone asking questions has a right to an answer. I think the whole "Elvis faked his death " subject should and could have been handled much better than it was. If it had, there would have been nothing to debate.
O no sweetie I didn't mean u I apologize!!! No I am in 100% agreement I dont have a problem talking about that stuff either ppl have to face the facts like it or not Elvis was a drug addict...Honestly that side of Elvis is what intrigued me the most!!! I have dealt w/ substance abuse nothing like coke or hard drugs and I was also raised in a family who abuse drugs....I saw so many parallels between Elvis, myself and my brother....
I found my brother dead from an overdose in 2001 and I suffered a breakdown and I was hospitalized for 5 weeks so I understand why Elvis did what he did...I am straight forward and pull no punches I am a very honest person...Facts r facts the fact is he is gone
