Thank you for your emails regarding the Jan. 8th Church Service
Thank you so much for the many emails from all parts of the world regarding the Church Service in honor of Myrna Smith. Elvis-art designer Ton van Herwaarde emailed us and is working on a canvas picturing Elvis and Myrna, which will be put in front of the Church. Mark Schraven (lead vocalist of Mufkin Tass) agreed to perform live during the Ceremony, and here's another mail from someone you may remember:
Thank you for remembering my dear friend, Myrna Smith. Ever since Elvis introduced me to her in 1969 we were friends. She had such a beauty both outside and inside and was so much fun to be around. People would just stare at Myrna she was so beautiful. She was a very special person and now she will be singing in that great choir with Elvis. Again, thank you for remembering my dear, sweet friend. And Happy New year to all the Elvis fans in Holland and around the world. I am Cricket-Marie Coulter (Harris). Elvis and I were friends for 11 years. He asked my roommate and I to be in "Elvis--That's The Way It Is." We were the 2 girls with the cat; I'm the one with the long hair. Thank you for your continued support of our wonderful man.

R.I.P. Myrna Smith![]()
Some of you all never been down South too much...
I'm gonna tell you a little story, so you'll understand where I'm talking about
I know this is a old thread. but i just say. the death is something annoying. we want still have our love ones here. Myrna did a good work for Elvis and we will never forget it
I had the pleasure of meeting Myrna in 2006. What a great smile and very pleasant woman. She was so kind and talked as long as I wanted, she did not rush me or brush me off. She was a wonderful person and she will be missed.
IM
