Elvis performs two shows at the Las Vegas Hilton and was in good spirits for both shows. The highlight of the evening was his redention of " Blue Christmas".

Elvis visits Sun Records and ends up having a jam session with Memphis Buddies Carl Perkins and Johnny Cash.

Elvis performs at the Hilton Showroom and gave a strong performance. Just prior to showtime, he fell and injuried his ankle.

Elvis performed at the Las Vegas Hilton Showrrom, but gave a short performance due to pain in his injuried ankle.

Vernon Presley was present during Elvis' performance at the Las Vegas Showroom but was taken to the hospital in the evening due to a possible heart attack.

Elvis performs at the Las Vegas Hilton, Ginger tells Elvis that she intends to return to Memphis to visit her family.

Elvis continues to perform at the Las Vegas Hilton. Although Vernon was released from the hospital Elvis' mood starts to take a turn for the worse.

December 10, 1976


A tired and moody Elvis performs at the Las Vegas Hilton Showroom. Early in the day, Ginger told Elvis she was returning to Memphis to see her family. To keep Ginger with him, Elvis as her parents flown to Memphis. They were present at the show this evening. Elvis announces to the fans" I Hate Vegas" and while holding the micro phone asks, " Does anyone want this tiny son of a *****?".

December 11, 1976


Elvis continues to perform in Las Vegas but is not in good spirits.

December 12, 1976

Elvis hold his final performance at the Las Vegas Hilton Showroom. After the show he has a special visitor in his dressing room. Elvis tells him he is unhappy with the direction his life is heading and request special prayers. The following day, Elvis returns to Memphis for the first time since mid November, and remains in his bedroom for the next few days.

Elvis performs at the Las Vegas Hilton. A person from RCA, saw a fan recording the show and asked for a copy.

Elvis continues to perform at the Las Vegas Hilton.

December 15, 1975

Elvis closed at the Las Vegas Hilton. The Hilton presented Elvis with a gold medallion whih his name in diamonds. During his engagement, Elvis performed in front of 32,000 fans and brought in a ticket total of $800,000. Elvis remained in Las Vegas for two nights before returning to Graceland.

Elvis wraped up his Stax recording session and recorded " If That Isn't Love.

After returning to Memphis from Los Angeles with Priscillia the previous evening, Elvis was in a foul mood. After he calmed down, he began decorating the Christmas tree.
