As everyone knows VE was released today. I got my copy, well a couple of copies. I have to say, whatever the mess up with the Suspicious Minds release/lack of promo etc I have to say I think the album is amazing.
All the tracks are remixed well. The 30 second samples off amazon a few weeks ago don't do the tracks justice.
I love how each track using samples from interviews, trailers, movies, studio outtakes etc. Its a really great concept album.
The originals are originals, and the remixes are remixes, IMO no need to compare the two. Just enjoy the album for what it is.
Currently, the album is number 5 on the HMV charts. I really urge people to buy the album, even if you're not a fan of remixes because its something unique to add to your Elvis collection.
