Bring Elvis back to the silver screen

It's such a shame that Elvis never got to be the movie star that he dreamed of becoming one day. But that all could change due to modern day technology and the ever growing trick photography being used in motion pictures today.
How cool would it be to see Elvis in a modern day action movie? Team him up with a super hott costar like Megan Fox, who by the way, is from Memphis and an Elvis fan. The powers that be in charge should seriously consider doing this for the near future. Say, 2012. They could use body doubles for certain angle shots to make it as realistic as possible.

I'm pretty sure that by using trick photography, body doubles and modern day technology-Elvis still would not become the movie star actor that he dreamed of being.
I thought though that when George Clooneys "Oceans 11" came out using ALLC in the picture- they should have used the exsiting footage of Elvis from "Live A little Love a Little" where he sings the song at the publishers party and isolated Elvis...using technology to seam together a music video with Clooney, Pitt, etc....maybe walking thru a casino Elvis in his white turtle neck and black coat Clooney in his black turtle neck and black coat.....would have been a great hype for the song and film....but they did not do it. If anything ever came of something like this I'm sure it would be a one time deal.

I know there's a lot of "if only"'s in Elvis' career. But I still think if he had been able to do "A STAR IS BORN" things would have changed for him, career wise and mentally. But we can't go back and what happened - happened. I think the Colonel was the only one who could have made Elvis the star he became, but he totally tore Elvis down in the mid 70's and had him bored to death. Elvis should have gotten rid of the Colonel in '74! Of course, this is my opinion only.

What about the emotions and the personal touch one must give while acting? I'd rather see Elvis in some of his worst movies (but still himself), than see a selfless, chopped Elvis in a modern action movie. I too, think that Elvis had an acting potential, but sadly he never got the chance to use it. I don't think that by using the modern technology, people will give Elvis the chance to be the actor he awalys wanted to be, nor will the fans be given the chance to see Elvis as one.

Despite the technology nowadays and all that can be done with old footage I don`t see how how this would work.It can be effective in short pieces,like they did with "Forrest Gump",but it would be very hard to keep it believable for a whole movie. It`s a shame that Elvis never got to achieve the things in acting that he wanted...but,sadly,I think the chances are long gone now.

I think it would be cool I would really love it if it happend! and just to se him on the big screen! ( someone have to make that work hihi)
