    Clint Eastwood play-dueled Elvis

Clint Eastwood has revealed he used to play "fast draws" with Elvis Presley.
The 80-year-old Hollywood legend says he and the late rock 'n' roll star were studio pals as Elvis was often working next door to where Clint was filming in the 1960s.
The pair struck up a friendship and it seems the dark-haired sex symbol could not resist meeting a "cowboy".
"I was always wearing a gun," Clint told USA Today. "Presley loved to do fast draws and stuff, so we always did fast draws together."
The pair were both doted on by women across the globe in their prime, so they had a lot in common. This made Clint warm towards Elvis, although there were big differences in the amount of security each required.
"I liked him," Clint said. "Elvis seemed like a good guy. Had a lot of guys hanging around, big entourage."

Good story, I can see it happening.
Clint Eastwood is still going strong, too. I''ve enjoyed most of his work, loved
Gran Torino, don't know about Hereafter, but I'll probably watch it.

And think of me, how it's gonna be and just pretend I didn't go

Cool, to bad there's no photos of them together.

Clint and Elvis, circa 1970, playing bad *** undercover agents, that's a movie I would love to see. lol.

That would have been cool to see. I would have liked to have seen Clint fast draw with Sonny West. Supposedly Elvis used to have Sonny fast draw with local law enforcement agents in various jurisdictions. The story goes that nine times out of ten Sonny beat the cops. Sonny usually finished with the fact that he had never drawn the gun and actually had to shoot someone.

He's a great actor AND musician.
I love the documentarie he did on piano blues with Martin Scorsese.
He's also pretty good as a singer in 'Honkytonk Man' alongside Marty Robbins. A must see!

I would have bet that Clint disliked Elvis-only because he loves jazz and blues music and many people who love that type music hate rock-IE Elvis.
But glad to know he has good thougths about Elvis

Elvis essentially came from the blues, so I dont why he'd think that. I guess I could see the jazz part though..... Then again Miles Davis was supposedly itching to get Jimi Hendrix in the studio with him a week before Hendrix died.
